IIABCal To Launch Online Learning Modules For New Hire & Leadership Training

PLEASANTON, CA, Nov. 17, 2017 – IIABCal has partnered with New Level Partners, LLC (NLP), a national learning and development company, to launch an interactive online training program for members to train new and current employees in their agencies and companies. The program includes both business skills and leadership training options. 

“The insurance industry has been facing a talent crisis for years, and while the employee recruitment & hiring process is challenging, it’s clear the critical step to ensure employees are successful is providing qualified education during the onboarding process and to support ongoing career development,” IIABCal CEO Clark Payan said.  “We’re excited to offer this interactive resource to IIABCal members to support their agency’s continued growth and success.”

The online modules include personal and commercial lines basics, business skill modules, and an Emerging Leaders package designed to strengthen millennial and Gen X talent entering managerial roles within their agencies. Each section contains classes that are approximately 30 to 45 minutes in length. The entire curriculum for each module is meant to be reviewed and digested over the course of weeks or months at the individual’s own pace.

IIABCal members should visit the association’s website to purchase the modules, which range from $80-$350 each and are available for four months after the date of purchase. Agencies can also purchase bundles for multiple employees for significant savings.
